- March 19, 2020: Our updated roster for the 2020 season is now posted below!
- July 16, 2019: The boys went up to North Carolina and were the ONLY team from the great State of Texas to compete in the 10U Division I - AAU National Championship tournament.
They went undefeated in both pool play and bracket play with 26 points as the average margin of victory throughout 7 games. They represented not only the City of Houston well but also the State of Texas!
The Houston Hoops Blue Chips 2027 are led by Georgetown Basketball Hall of Famer Joey Brown and Cornell University Basketball Hall of Famer Jacques Vigneault who both have taught these young men how to play the game and play it well!
Joey Brown (Head Coach), Jacques Vigneault (Assistant Coach) and team (Christian Brown, Bo Davis, Isaak Hayes, JD Williams, Lash Henderson, Madden Hill, Mateo Vigneault, Tyson Forrest and Xavier Muhammad) 10U AAU National Champions are the #1-10U team in the country!
- December 17, 2018: The team went undefeated in the Searles Ballout Holiday Classic this past weekend.
- May 30, 2018: The team traveled to New Orleans on Memorial Day weekend where they went undefeated in pool and bracket play to earn the Super 60 – 9U Division Championship trophy!
- April 30, 2018: The 2027 9U team went undefeated in the Kingwood Classic to win the Championship in the 9U Division.
- April 22, 2018: The team played up in the 10U Division of the Big Foot Hoops H-Town Classic and went undefeated to bring home the Championship.
- March 5, 2018: The team went undefeated in the Johns Lucas All Star Tournament and brought home the Championship!
- December 16, 2017: The team participated in the We Ball USA/The Takeover Tournament in San Antonio, TX to kick off the 2018 season and went undefeated to win the championship in the 9U Division.
- June 18, 2017: Capped off the season with a very competitive championship game and 2nd place 8U Division finish at the Hoop Dream Classic in Tulsa, OK. It’s been a great season and we’re looking forward to 2018!
- June 12, 2017: The boys went undefeated in the 8U Crimson Division of the Excel Summer Jump Off Tournament in San Antonio and earned Championship Rings!
- May 30, 2017: The team took 2nd place in their first time participating in the SAAU Super 60 in New Orleans! Undefeated in pool play and bracket play, they went head-to-head against our rivals from Atlanta in the Championship game and were edged out in the last minutes by a score of 25-21. Awesome tournament, big stage, strong finish!
- May 22, 2017: The second grade team exhibited poise, skill and confidence in their perfect 5-0 winning streak while playing up in the 9U Division in the Texas Rookies Invitational.
- May 8, 2017: We brought home the hardware! The boys battled and went undefeated playing up in the 9U Division at the 3rd Annual Jonathan Burnett Summer Shootout in Texas City, TX. Congratulations to the team and our dedicated coaching staff.
- April 30, 2017: The team slayed giants in the Kingwood Classic over the weekend and finished second place in the 9u division with a tournament record of 4-1! They had the opponent against the ropes in the championship game but were ultimately overcome by the sheer size and speed of the older team. Proud of these young men!
- April 10, 2017: The 2027 team competed in the Jammin 4 Jerseys tournament in Little Rock, AR and in a nail biting finish, came up short losing 33-31 in the final seconds.
- April 4, 2017: The 2027 team won the Platinum Championship playing up in the 9U division at the Get Ready Go Live tournament hosted by Ball Out Events over the weekend. Next stop, Arkansas!
- February 27, 2017: The team took first place in both the Nightrydas tournament and The Get Down tournament this month!
