- February 7,2011: Congrats to Alex Cooper on signing to play football for the University of Houston last week!
- July 25, 2010: adidas Super 64 Wrap-Up - The Houston Hoops went (2-1) in pool play with a loss to Full Package Elite Indiana (54-49) and a wins against the Fairfax Stars Premier (52-51) and Nor Cal Pump N Run Blue (45-36). In bracket play, they won their opening round game against the Colorado Hawks (63-59), but lost a heartbreaker in OT to the Oakland Rebels (46-44).
- May 24, 2004: Houston Hoops Taylor went 3-0 in pool play at the KC Classic this weekend with wins against KC Spartans, Omaha Sports Academy and Tulsa Hawks. They won their first bracket game against Colorado Chaos, then beat Humble Christian Life made it to the Elite 8 and lost to a very good Kingdom Hoops team.
- March 28, 2010: Houston Hoops Taylor took 2nd place at the Off Da Hook Tournament this weekend, going 3-0 in pool play (def. Baytown Cougars, H-Town Takers Black, & Houston Clippers Blue) and winning bracket games against SWAG Elite and Houston Hoops Lowe before losing to the Houston Hoopstars in the championship game.
- March 21, 2010: Houston Hoops Taylor went 3-0 at the Ice Breaker this weekend with wins over Full Court Athletes of Dallas (51-37), Gulf Coast Blue Chips Jackson (51-42), and Houston Elite Gray (64-38).
- February 1, 2010: Two sport athletes shine! 1st Team All-district - 19-5A Offense: James Jones, QB; 1st Team All-district - 19-5A Offense: Everrett Pleasant, WR; 2nd Team All-district - TAPPS -Defense: Alex Cooper, DL
- July 25, 2009: adidas Super 64 - The Houston Hoops won their first bracket game vs. the Houston Suns Select last night (64-55). Everett Pleasant had 17 pts. But they lost their next bracket game to Team Takeover (Canada) 65-59.
- July 24, 2009: adidas Super 64 - The Houston Hoops won their first pool game against A Train (Utah), dropped a game to Ohio Basketball Club, and then won big against Valley Pump N Run, making them 2nd in their pool - 1st bracket game is tonight.
- July 15, 2009: Nike Peach Jam- the Houston Hoops went 2-2 with wins against the Alabama Challenge and Team Takeover, and losses to the St Louis Eagles and BABC.
- May 26, 2009: Houston Hoops won the championship of the 17U division in the N.A.Y.B.A Memorial Day Classic in Atlanta Georgia, defeating the Georgia Dream Team, Atlanta Select Black, Atlanta Select Gold, and Team Jordon of Detroit in the Championship game. Everrett Pleasant was named MVP of the tournament.
- May18, 2009: The Houston Hoops took 2nd place in the 17U Platinum Division of the Summer Prep Showcase this weekend.
- May 3, 2009: The Houston Hoops won the 17U division of the May Madness Classic this weekend with wins over Rashard Lewis Elite, NW Select, D-Gib Hoops 16s, and the H-Town Cougars.
- April 26, 2009: The Houston Hoops took second place in the Next Level Baller tournament in Dallas this weekend by winning games against Texas Select Chad, MBA Hoops, Tulsa Jr. Hurricanes, and the Dallas Heroes, before losing in the championship game to the Arkansas Wings.
- April 19, 2009: The Houston Hoops took 2nd place in the H-Town Classic by defeating the Terrell Elite, Hard Work, Texas Takeovers, and LBA Seawolves.
